Are you a Mason? Ad in the Ellensburg Dawn Feb 11th, 1904

 The height of membership in fraternal organizations was roughly around this time.  Nearly 1 in 4 adult men belonged to one or more fraternal organizations and there were 1 million masons.  That is out of a total US population of 75 million.

This ad is for a movie, a farce, and the theme is somewhat related to masonry, I guess.  I thought it was funny.  And the wording and phrases of speech are interesting.
